    Connect to Kindergarten events:

    • March 12th, 2025: 5:30 - 6:30 pm, Auditorium

      May 14th, 2025: 5:30 - 6:30 pm, Auditorium

      June 18th, 10 - 11 am, Auditorium

      August 6th, 10 - 11 am, Auditorium

    We'd love to have all incoming kindergartners enrolled for fall by June 1st, so submit your registration form & documents online or in our office, and we'll get them registered.

    • Register for Kindergarten online. (Option only available for students with NO PPS history.) 

      KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION CHECKLIST

      Please provide the following pieces of information to complete the registration process for your child:

      • Completed School Registration Form- available at the school or online at the Portland Public School website

      • Immunization Records - Please transfer your records to the form enclosed, and sign and date it before turning it in.

      • Birth or Baptismal Certificate or Passport- for birthdate verification.

      • Proof of Address-Two Documents- Examples include utility bill, cell phone bill, rental agreement, bank statement insurance statement, or mortgage closing papers. All must be recent and have the parent or guardian’s name listed.

      • Vision & Dental Screening Form- For any child age 7 or younger.

    You can register online if ALL of the following apply:

    • Your child is NEW to PPS
    • Your students did NOT attend a PPS Pre-K locations: Boise-Eliot/Humboldt, Clarendon, Creston Annex, Dr. MLK Jr, Faubion, Grout, Jason Lee, Kelly, Marysville, Lent, Rosa Parks, Sacajawea, Sitton, Whitman, Woodlawn
    • Your student does NOT have an IFSP and did NOT receive services from Multnomah Early Childhood Program (MECP)
    • You are enrolling your child in your neighborhood school and NOT a CBO/Charter
    • You have an email address and access to a computer
