She/Her

A little about me:  This will be my 4th year being a speech-language pathologist at Woodmere. I’ve worked in schools for nearly 20 years, first as a Kindergarten teacher for 7 years, and after getting a 2nd master’s degree in Communication Disorders, I’ve been working as a speech-language pathologist for the past 8 years. I love making connections with kids, teaching through play and helping kids build their confidence by building their language and social skills. If you’ve been in the building at Woodmere you may have seen my trusty sidekick, Friday, the therapy dog. (see his bio below). Friday helps me make those valuable connections with students, parents and staff. He helps kids feel comfortable talking about their feelings. (Sometimes I think that people like him better than me. Ha!)

I’m originally from New Jersey and almost my entire family lives in France so I am  a French-American citizen. I have spent many years travelling and living in France and also England. I moved to Oregon in 2000 and have been here ever since. It feels like home to me now especially since many parts of Oregon remind me of Southern parts of France.

In my free time I enjoy traveling, playing the fiddle with my family band, traveling, being a photographer, traveling  and getting out in nature with my family and dogs. Did I mention that I like to travel?
