A little bit about me:

As a PE teacher with 17 years of experience, I’ve seen the transformative power of play in helping students discover who they are, understand how to treat others, and embrace the values of community care and joy. My approach is rooted in meeting students where they are, recognizing that everyone has different needs and boundaries. Some days, learning might happen through active participation, while other days, it might come from simply observing. I never force students to participate because I believe deeply in body autonomy and the importance of consent in all forms of play.

Outside of School, home with my family and dog is my happy place, and the only thing that comes close is spending time in the woods. Creativity has always been a big part of my life, though the way I express it has evolved over the years. As a kid, the saxophone was my main creative outlet, which then shifted to painting in my young adult years. Nowadays, I channel my creativity into making tie-dyes, which I love sharing with my community.
